it always comes to me at this hour of the night. i guess if i was sleeping then it would be that vivid dream where everything falls into place, and my name would be tetris.
that deafening quiet you'll get in a snowstorm is part amazing and part creepy. walking in the snowstorm with hot chocolate allows me to carefully take everything in my life, and put it in order.
i had that dream again where i was on the subway sharing headphones with her. we were singing off key to rod stewart and it was a moment. i took a picture of us on the red line. there's new meaning to a scarf that keeps her warm because whenever she's wearing one, i melt.

| that time of year |
[27 Oct 2006|02:41am] |
where the nights are chilly and i find myself curled up underneath a stack of blankets. this time, i've got a little laptop to help my veg-state and it's totally sweet.
Funny, I never saw myself here last year, and i'm sort of happy with that. i've got amazing support, and i'm always around people. i miss savannah. i liked having all my space to myself, and just relaxing in the living room taking a nap. drinking sweet tea and laughing to myself. i'd just drive down to the beach to take a walk and feel the ocean breeze mess up my hair. talking on the phone and falling asleep. it seems like now, i'll never talk to people on my phone.
i miss having the sand between my toes.
i miss a lot of things, but none of them can be fixed easily. i also feel like my mind is slowly unraveling..and all the things i was comfortable about have been moved around. shifted, kicked over and basically disturbed.
i love how people think they can read me, when i can't even figure out what the hell is going on.
i don't know anymore.
i went out tonight and actually had a fucking blast. and i think i know why.

new month, and oh my god what a difference that makes.
classes are starting soon, and i'm nutting in my pants thinking about how fun that's going to be. i'm actually going to staples soon to get shit. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
and to think, when the going gets tough, all you need is someone to throw a bottle at your head, knock sense into you and make you realize, DAMN heather looks fine in a skimpy tshirt. wait, what?

here's a standard run of the mill breakdown of last night's events:
* harborfest fireworks are so loud, you can hear them in syracuse * cops on 4 wheelers following a safe distance behind 3 men screaming and being generally drunk * walking all the way from one side to the other. * elton john on the speakers...eurythmics on the tv. (mindfuck) * having a limited selection of music to choose from because my fucking cd case has been in the trunk and i keep forgetting to bring it to within arms reach. * got myself some new funk (and i bout to get funked up) * the burger king in fulton rules. * dr pepper was born in 1885 * GENTLEMAN BEHOLD! MORE SUGAR! * hey, she's ready...come over. * grey's anatomy and nail painting.
also coming soon, a .mac page dedicated to our wedding. there may or may not be a redsox/yankees hat picture on there.

here's a standard run of the mill bulletin post recapping all of last nights crazyness:
* clerks II postponed. * inn complete * cheap coronas * patrick buying a pitcher of sam adams, and then everyone deciding to leave. you can't chug sam...it's against the rules * revised the entire story of "him" it now begins in 1886 and just like most history books, it gets more vivid and in depth as you get closer to 2006 * dan's bar and the amazingness that followed: * who are you texting? YOUR MOM. FROM THE GRAVE. * foreign people make the best cock blocks. * asking the table "don't you love those days when you can sit at home and punch the clown?" * having someone respond with "i would love to punch him/her" * making the mcdonalds sign with my fingers starting at 11:49 and ending at about 1:30 * going on a wild tangent about dane cook and then building up to the dryer skit. needless to say, heather cried last night. * blaming so much of the suck on the dryer noise being done by an outside party whilst taking a shot. * having a drunk guy come up to me and letting me know that i made him lost and simply telling him that it was the maze's fault.
we left the bar at like 12:30 and heather was like "oh i know this 24 hour mcdonalds...it's right next to a 24 hour taco bell"
GUESS WHAT. yep, it was closed. GG.
hahah so i made a beeline down the highway towards the one on w. erie and then came back here and passed out.
what did you do last night?

SANTANA - PUT YOUR LIGHTS ON |

Things that happened in the last 36 hours: (In no particular order)
* Mike singing günther in my backseat at 430 am. * a thermos that ended up almost being used as ammo to toss at luu's car * fritz jumped on my back when i wasn't paying attention * steve did the same * i went hiking through costa rica * i hung around my house with heather * we're getting married * we're in love (with ikea) * you should check out our wedding registry and buy us stuff for our apartment in boston (coming soon!!) * my grandmother loves heather, therefore french toast is involved. * finding sweet fucking records that need to magically end up at our apartment * a nintendo will also go in that magic bag. * a fan that has a remote. finally something built for a lazy couple. it's called blizzard. * Lizzy's ice cream is awesome, although the line wasn't. * Eating watermelon at the house and watching ESPN. * 400 fucking channels and there's nothing good on. (wait, legends was on, but degrassi wasn't) * Visit city hall. Collect 20 dollars. * Taking a trip to a castle and seeing the boston skyline * What happened to all the damn frogs? * Dragon Chef is always a good choice * You can never have enough James Dean posters for your apartment * It's Miller Time. * Jeff Glor is married, that's why Heather settled for me. * Nelly Furtado's single is always better when you've got a verizon wireless phone * I can throw Poland Springs bottles really really really far. * Why are you still reading this list? you should seriously be buying the wife and I stuff from ikea * Heather's pickup truck gets HORRIFIC gas mileage. * A mix cd may be in order for the amazingness that is mad-libbing. * GENTLEMAN...BEHOLD!! __________ * ITS NOT DIFFERENT AT ALL, IS IT _______?! * COFFEE + CINNAMON ROLL = $1.50
basically we're going back by september, and doing the stuff we didn't have enough time to do when we were there for like 36 hours:
1. going to a red sox game 2. Franco's pizza has awesome pizza, beer, and pool. seriously, what more could you ask for? 3. sitting around the house and just relaxing with nana. 4. I'm sure I missed something....(that belongs here)

[16 Jul 2006|02:16am] |
man what a night. it's fun seeing people you haven't seen in forever.
I guess to get the ball rolling, happy 21 to amy mccauley! i stopped over there and said holler to a crowd of people i seriously haven't seen in like 2 years.
stopped by mutty's and watched the red sox game, then hung out with paul for the rest of the night.
it's good to be home.
so i'm hanging around in boston till later this week, and then on monday is going to be a complete shitshow. I have some top secret plans for me and the girlfriend (i'd so tell you, but i know you got a big mouf) and it might involve watermelon, and exposing lauren to the madness that is my dad.
